The FRAC Auvergne presents a high profile exhibition: Man Walking From Dream is a collection of films, drawings and 75 prints by director David Lynch from the last five years. The director and artist began working on lithographic stones in 2007.The auteur responsible for cult films like Blue Velvet, Elephant Man or Mulholland Drive, is also an artist who draws inspiration from directors like Federico Fellini and Jacques Tati, as well as the artists Francis Bacon and Edward Hopper. Painting, drawing, printmaking, photography and design are abiding passions for David Lynch.The exhibition is accompanied by a retrospective of his films at The Atmospheres art house cinema. The American polymath also released his first solo album, Crazy Clown Time, in November 2011. This is a great opportunity to see Lynch's entire œuvre.
